Last Thursday, months of ideas, planning, testing, creativity and collaboration came together as we celebrated the Grand Opening of the first location of 2G2B Healthy Express at Copper Point Resort in Invermere, British Columbia.
And the community showed up.
From resort guests and visitors to residents who came out to support local business, the turnout made our opening day something truly special.
There was a ribbon cutting, cake cutting, live music, complimentary tasters and a gift basket draw, but what made the day memorable was seeing people fill the space, connect with one another and experience 2G2B Healthy for themselves.
More Than an Opening Day
The ribbon cutting represented much more than the opening of a new location.
Behind it were months of brainstorming sessions, strategy meetings, brand development, ingredient and recipe trials, staff recruitment and training, creative work and countless details that had to come together.
There were tight timelines, long days, early mornings, travel and plenty of problem-solving along the way.
What began as a lifelong dream gradually became a brand, a physical space, and finally, a place ready to welcome its first guests.
Founder Lisa Levasseur reflected on that journey following the opening, expressing her sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, ideas, expertise and encouragement to bringing 2G2B Healthy to life.
For Lisa, the launch became more than a dream. It represents what is possible (in a short amount of time, lol ) when people truly believe, and are passionate about an idea. They work together to build it with care, intention and a genuine passion to help others.
A Celebration of Community
That sense of community carried straight into opening day.
Seeing visitors and locals gathered, trying something new, enjoying the music and supporting a new local business was exactly the kind of beginning we had hoped for.
2G2B Healthy was created around the belief that making different choices shouldn’t mean giving up great taste, and the Grand Opening gave us our first opportunity to share that experience with the community on this scale.
The response was one we won’t soon forget.
Where We Go from Here
Opening the doors of 2G2B Healthy Express first location is a milestone, but it isn’t the finish line.
It’s the beginning.
There is much more ahead for 2G2B Healthy as the brand continues to grow, new ideas are developed and we find more ways to bring together great taste, thoughtful choices, convenience and hospitality.
And we’re not quite finished celebrating this milestone either.
Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing photographs and moments from the Grand Opening , from the ribbon cutting and live music to the people who helped make the day such a success.
